Each group consists of like-minded non-competing small business owners with one of the following skills:

Sales | Marketing | HR | Operations | IT | Legal | Finance | Website | Creative 

We look for a blend of different skill sets and personalities. The introverts the extroverts, the deep thinkers and the creative brain stormers. We believe that its this diverse range of owners that produces gold. It’s where the magic happens, and unique ideas, strategies and support is created. 

Besides no one wants to be stuck in an echo chamber, right?

The Mastermind Group meets once a month for four hours. We also have optional Networking sessions that happen twice monthly.

You’re welcome to join our planning sessions that happen once a quarter too over the span of three hours. 

Lastly, our facilitators are always available for Ad-hoc 1-2-1 support to help steer your business in the right direction.

All of this is really easy to access online.

Yes, Mastermind9 sessions are held online. This is easier, cheaper, and more convenient for small business owners who are responsible for so many moving parts of the business.

Making sure that the sessions are fun, have good pace and plenty of breaks is key. Our facilitators are well trained in ensuring that all of our online interactions are vibrant and participants want to come back time and time again. 

We always make time to periodically meet up together face to face too.

We get it! You don’t want to expose ALL parts of your business to the outside world. Which is why at Mastermind9, each member plus the facilitators sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

All information whether delivered in written format, in person, over any electronic media, or in any other manner, that is received directly or indirectly from or about M9’s members, shall be treated as confidential without a time limit, whether of a business, personal, or professional nature, including trade secrets, business plans, and matters of personal and professional conduct, as set out in the corresponding agreement Mastermind9 Mutual Non Disclosure Agreement.

The reason why your Mastermind Group is made up of 9 members is pretty simple; it’s a group large enough to bring a diverse and wide range of skills, while small enough to ensure everyone is a key member, and every voice is heard.

We feel that it’s really important for your group to form a very strong bond, the larger a group is the harder this bond is to form. However you need a range of members to bring a broad range of ideas to the table, in our experience 9 is the magic number.

We launch from 6 members, but will never go over 9.

We don’t mandate a minimum term, however we ask for a 12 month commitment. 

This is because we believe it takes a few months for the group bonds to really solidify, and it’s long enough to really see an impact on your business. 

However, to be in a Mastermind Group that works it’s got to be right for both sides. If it’s not working for you, we ask for 3 months notice or forfeiture of your deposit, whichever suits you best. This is to allow us time to find the right replacement for you.

In order to benefit as much as possible from one another, your membership gives you access to a private Whatsapp Group where we check on each other and navigate the day to day of running a business together.

You will also have access on WhatsApp and through the networking group, to our wider network of of business owners and other group members via The Alliance.

On top of your monthly Mastermind sessions, we provide quarterly business planning sessions, as well as a bunch of workshops such as how to write the best pitch, understanding your client avatar, creating a sales process that works, plus a tonne more.

You’ll also be able to book in with your group facilitator and chat through any issues ad hoc.
